My girlfriend and I have always desired to go for a holiday but due to the heavy commitment at work and financial constraint we have then, it seemed impossible; not at least till half a year later. But one day, my boss called me to check if I wanted two free SIA tickets to Penang. What happened was she had a friend who had redeemed a pair of Penang return air tickets using SIA Kris Flyer miles and sold it cheaply to her. Then my boss decided to bless me and hence offered me the tickets. So having in mind that we had the desire to travel, I took the offer.
In the following day, I was supposed to let my boss know the duration of the trip. Being a concerned about my work, I decided on only 3 days, coming back on a Thursday. Nevertheless, my boss was kind enough to advise me to go for a longer period, at least 4 days, coming back on a Saturday. That was also my girlfriend’s desire.
True enough, the next day, my boss told me that SIA only have slots for the 4 days, coming back on Saturday. She apologised that she couldn’t get the date that I wanted, but I was glad, because that was our desire for a longer holiday! I know that God was orchestrating the whole arrangement all this while. Praise God, this is what I call the supernatural favour of God upon my life!
