My friend introduced me to Jesus Christ

James 4:8, “8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”

During my teenage years, I had a close friend who never gave up sharing God with me. She continued to talk about God for a couple of years and even prayed for me whenever we hang out, or during sleepovers. Despite listening to her sharing and just letting out the other ear, a seed was sown in my life.

I became curious about who this God really was. I wanted to know more about him and how real He really is. So, with a pure heart, I decided to challenge God by praying about little things and yes, he answered my prayers. Little by little I was convinced that he was real.

Seeing how real this God is, I decided to go another step and find a church. I tried attending my close friend’s church, but I was not comfortable with the worship style. While seeking for a home church, I happened to find a Christian friend via the Internet. He invited me to attend his church service for next week but I could not wait that long to attend church so I called him that Saturday night to see if I could join him for service for that week instead. That is how I came to find HHC and decided to stay. I have found my home church.
