My experience in casting out demon

Mark 16:17, “17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;”

It was a few years back when my school friends organized a chalet at East Cast Park during one of the school holidays. Back then there were about 10 of us. On one of the nights someone brought up the idea of visiting the infamous Old Changi Hospital to check out the spooky stuffs that many legends claimed. We were all young, adventurous and curious. That night a group of us went but a few of us stayed back at the chalet. I was one of the few who stayed behind. When the rest was back from the trip, everything seemed normally. However it was only a while when we noticed my friend, C, was adnormally quiet. He was squatting alone in a corner of the room and keeping very quiet. I have also noticed a purple patch on the right side of his bermudas. C was a noisy person by nature. He would joked and mixed around with the group whenever we are around. I felt something very strange with him. Jokingly I went over and gave me a nudge. C ignored him. I nudged him again and said, “C, what’s wrong with you. Join us leh.” This time, he raised his head and looked at me; giving an evil smile. I was shocked. His countenance was very different. Next he started talking and even asked for chocolate milk to drink. In my years of knowing C, I knew he never drink chocolate milk. He dislike it. Something was really very wrong. Suddenly he stood up started shaking violently and screaming loudly. The nine of us were shocked. Among us, 4 of us were Christians. C was not. We suspected that he was possessed. Having learnt in the bible that Jesus gave us the power to cast out demons, 4 of us pinned C down to the floor and one of us commanded, “In the name of Jesus Christ, I cast you devil out!” C was amazingly strong. He managed to push the four of us away. We did not give up and tried to pin him down again and started to pray in tongues. The rest of our friends were afraid and they stayed at one corner of the room witnessing the whole event. We just continue to pray and pray in tongues and we could suddenly feel that C lost his supernatural strength and then he passed out. The demon was cast out. When we asked him what happened, he was clueless about it and even asked how he got back to the chalet. God is great. As it is written in 1 John 4:4, “4 … He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”
Throughout this incident I must admit I was scared as well. We have never encounter anything like this before but we were glad that we still did the right thing as Christians. Praise the Lord!
