Every child is a blessing from God, and we have two such blessings. When I was pregnant with my second child, during one of the scan in early part of my pregnancy, the doctor told us that our baby has a high probability for down-syndrome. I was really worried when I heard the news. However, as we started praying about it, I was reminded that God has created us in His perfection and we should have faith and not doubt that. These words really spoke to me. Instead of praying and praying that God would help us, we decided to take a difference stance and believe God’s promises. I decided not to worry and have faith in God’s blessing of a perfect child for us.
A few weeks later, I went for the amniocentesis test, although we decided to go for the test, but we went in with the mindset of confirming God’s word for us. True enough the test results turned out negative. There is no doubt that God’s promise is always true!
